Welcome to Goodfield Baseball! A web-site established to give people the opportunity to chat all things baseball. Baseball is, and always will be, America’s pastime. By constantly communicating about the game, it will allow all people to remain in the mainstream light of baseball and to grow with the game. Like all things, baseball experienced great change with the boom of technology and bigger and faster athletes. By maintaining a pipeline of communication we can better prepare our athletes to remain competitive with the evolution of baseball. With the spread of ideas and knowledge there will come a day where all young kids will have the opportunity to be baseball players; and not bored with the everyday practice of groundballs and batting practice. It is our hope to share ideas and drills of a competitive, quick, fast-paced nature to where all kids will constantly be involved.
Founded by Coach Kirk Goodson and Coach Eric Lickfeld, Goodfield Baseball has developed a series of drills to increase athletic endurance, on-field awareness, player communication, and more. Often times young ball players are discouraged by the lack of on field involvement. Our drills are built from the principle "practice should not be boring". Hosting baseball camps that teach our "Goodfield Baseball Drills Series" is a way for us to teach players of all ages. The defensive drills we teach are aimed at executing a vast amount of fundamentals in an organized, fast-paced, exciting and rapid manner. The players learn and develop on site in a fun, hands on, real time environment by Coach Goodson, Coach Lickfeld and our team of trained assistants.
